That my car was still there in the morning.
This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in period. We were actually scared the entire time we were in the hotel.

I liked that my car was still there in the morning.
You definitely get what you pay for in this one, and we didn't pay much. This hotel is in a fairly sketchy part of town and seems to be used mostly by truckers and semi-permanent residents, probably because it's such a cheap hotel. We were woken up multiple times by loud music as people drove up and made tons of noise. I definitely wouldn't stay here again and would recommend avoiding this place.

The hotel receptionist/staff was super nice and friendly. The lady who was working at the front desk that day I checked in was ready to offer help and even offered me some toothpaste when she knew I lost one of my baggage at the airport! I couldn't thank her much and would definitely recommend America's Best Value Inn Durham to anyone who would like to stay at Durham.

The manager Vick was excellent and went out of his way to make my stay comfortable and that was the highlight of my stay .The room was smelling of strong cigarette smoke. It is basically a budget packers inn but I would still say the room was a little pricy for the kind of crowd that stays there.

It was super affordable, just outside of downtown Durham, and there's a great Pad Thai place in walking distance that I highly recommend.
Definitely the price, the location, the clerks were all very nice, and we had hbo in our room.

Cheap, decent breakfast, free wifi and close to public transport.

Owner is very nice.
Very dirty, very dirty, very dirty, very dirty...not worth it at any price, unless you are just looking for a place to sleep that is a step up from a shelter because it is private.

It was dirty and we had dozens of bugs in our room. They didn't have our reservation when we got there and were quite rude. The lobby smelled like death and the building did not feel very safe.

The only good point was the price.
Pool unavailable, WiFi not working as advertised. Rooms unclean and reach infested, and staff knocks on door at 10am.
